I find that kind of thing not just fun for frugality purposes, but useful for those of us who blog and would like to build better connections with companies worth endorsing and fostering beneficial relationships. As for the 1% club, that's a great idea! I've already posted a few ailtcres about my personal goals and I'm working on developing some more ballsy-audacious goals. I'm reading The Pledge by Michael Masterson right now to get me really thinking about the unique things I want to do with my life and my long term strategies for achieving them. I already have some goals, but there are definetly more I want to tack on there. I've bookmarked your 1% post and hope to get something up by the end of the week since I'm trying to plow through final exams for grad school right now.I'm really struggling with one thing though: I am turning 25 this year in July, and I wanted to do something awesome and charitable- and DIFFERENT. Every year for my bday I do a toy drive or food drive, but I was hoping to take a trip to somewhere to do something that matters in a place I haven't been (I am well traveled in the U.S. but nowhere else) and I'm just kind of lost as to where to start planning in such a short time and limited means Hmmm.
